The group normally meets on the first Tuesday of the month, except : -
- the group does NOT meet in January or August;
- when the month starts with a Bank Holiday, the meeting is commonly held on the second Tuesday of that month.

Details will be announced when the meetings are arranged.

VENUE

The Sandwell Asthma Supporters Group usually meets at the Chest Clinic (Conference Room) of the Sandwell General Hospital, by kind permission of the staff. The normal meeting time is 7:30 p.m.

In the Hospital, locate the Chest Clinic waiting room, on the ground floor. The meeting room is opposite the reception desk.

Whenever possible, any late changes to meeting arrangements will be posted around 18:30 on the meeting day (when Webmaster returns home from work).

PARKING

Sandwell MBC have introduced a lot of parking restrictions around West Bromwich, some of them very eccentric. These include restrictions on evening and over-night parking on streets around the hospital. If you park in a designated parking area on the street, check the signs for restrictions at unexpected times. The evening and night restriction is for residents parking. It is available for the general public during the working day. Our group Treasurer received a parking ticket while attending an Asthma Supportser's Group meeting even though there was only one other parked car within a hundred yards that evening.
